Installation Guidelines
Excavate to a depth of tank height plus 300 mm for a gravel bedding layer
Lay a 300 mm compacted gravel or sand bed before lowering the tank
Back-fill with pea gravel or sand to prevent point loading on the tank shell
Do not use heavy machinery directly over the buried tank
Inlet pipe must enter above the liquid level of the first chamber
Outlet pipe should discharge to a soakaway or municipal connection
Install a vent pipe of minimum 100 mm diameter to atmosphere
Mark the manhole cover location with a surface marker for future access
